Lots of VeloRaptors turned out for our annual meeting on Sunday – June 5
Here are the highlights:
David Kellert and Steve Goldenberg were elected to the board to fill spots left by Susan Stewart and Randy Mellins, whose terms had ended. Randy announced that he will again host a summer bike wash fundraiser for BORP, and Fred has again offered to host the Christmas Party! Membership is staying constant at about 100 members, with may miles being ridden. Masses of coffee and pastries continue to be consumed.
In addition, last week the Wednesday riders made a brief stop to check out the coffee at the new cafe at Redwood Canyon Golf Course on Redwood Road near Castro Valley. Let it be known that Peets’ is not losing any customers, meaning we still have to climb the hill from hell to get some coffee.
